Perfect for what we were looking for, very comfy bed

Pros: The room was accessible externally so didn’t matter if late back

Will definitely stay again.

Pros: Location, 10min walk to Alton Water, lots of great routes to take. Staff, all great, always welcomed us with a hello and a smile. Food, great value great simple pub hub but done with next level.

Cons: If I had to be really picky, the tv wasnt a smart tv. But honestly it was nice.

Pros: The king's head is in a lovely little village called Stutton. For those that don't know the area around here is very flat. There's lots of nice walks nearby. The people at Kings head are thoughtful , friendly and approachable. Not only the staff but just in general. At least that's what I found. I've been there a few times. Food is also really good here. Accommodation was very functional, comfortable , our room had a nice little ensuite. No complaints at all from me and my other half. Which is always a good sign. So overall happy customer. Even though it's quite warm at the moment (June) one particular evening it was quite cold . Went to the bar and asked him to put the heating on and that wasn't a problem a few minutes later it was nice and warm. Like I said before they were friendly the staff were helpful and very accommodating.

Cons: It's not so much what I didn't like it ,Just observations. Our room was more like a studio so kitchen was teeny, Just a kettle and fridge. No microwave or hob. But we were on holiday so we ate at the restaurant in the Kings head. This , as i mentioned before was really good. They've got a good chef there.

Pros: Super efficient staff happy to serve, both evenings. Great food and next to no waiting. Great room , bed comfy and clean super picture window for a great breeze on two of the hottest nights of the year. The gardens are spacious and well organised. There is a covered no smoking food area well used. Dogs are allowed in garden as long as they are on leads. All In all a very restful peaceful weekend . Thank you to all the staff that made it this way.

Pros: The room was large and comfortable,good food in the pub,good value.

Cons: Nothing, apart from only a small thing it didn't have a hairdryer.

Pros: Evening meal at pub was fantastic!Breakfast was supplied in fridge plenty of milk orange juice etc could sit outside to enjoy Al fresco breakfast ( weather permitting!)Problem with hot water in shower.

Cons: Room a little small but quite adequate for 1 night.

Pros: Lots of character to the old Inn building but modern comfortable decor

Cons: It was a little bit warm but we opened the windows

Cons: Warning - this property was cheaper booking directly through the pub themself - in fact £15 cheaper! . I followed the instructions from booking.com about their price promise and no response. Will not be booking through booking.com again, beware

Pros: The room/apartment was well above what we were expecting, very well laid out with everything we required. The pub downstairs was very lively but we didn't notice any noise upstairs, and the food was lovely.
