Penthouse Apartment with seaviews

Pros: Very central location with a brilliant view of the sunrise over the sea by Walton pier. In fact there were good views in three directions from various windows. The apartment was very well decorated and the bedroom was comfortable. The kitchen area has all the utensils etc. that you might require. There was a helpful folder in the table drawer including all the local restaurants/takeaways menus. This was a nice touch. A very nice stay

Cons: Nothing really except the three flights of stairs were quite steep, and this probably wouldn't suit an older or disabled person.

Lovely views and great location.

Pros: Clean, tidy apartment with everything we needed for our few days by the sea. Beautiful view from the apartment of the sea and close to local shops and restaurants. Would happily stay again.

Cons: Would have been nice to have some bigger towels and the heating on a timer as when we arrived the apartment was only 13 degrees.

Brilliant views, a lovely Winter Solstice visit

Pros: Directions to the property and instructions for access were clear and accurate. Promptly supplied. Photo representation is accurate. The flat is simple but has everything you need. The view is superb. Walkable from the railway station. Shops nearby. The beach and the Naze walks literally from the front door. Maybe a bit different at the height of the season, but in winter it's lovely and quiet.

Cons: I found the bed a little uncomfortable - but that may be a personal preference thing. It didn't stop me coming back for a second visit.

Pros: Everything was perfect! The views of the sea are amazing. The host is super lovely too, I loved one of her other properties so I decided to try this one next. It's good having somewhere to hang my coat and put my shoes. It's super clean everywhere and the bed is really comfortable. The bath is a nice big deep one too. Being able to sit at the table overlooking the beach and paint rocks has been the best thing so far! I can't wait until I try more of the hosts properties. I recommend either staying here or one of the hosts other properties when you come to Walton-on-the-Naze!

Cons: The stairs but the property is worth it, plus the sea views are worth it too.

Pros: The views were wonderful. The property was clean and well looked after. Kelly was very helpful, and quick, when there was a problem with the kettle.

Clean modern flat with a lovely sea view

Pros: Nice clean comfortable flat with a cracking sea view. I had a lovely sleep in the comfy double bed. The second bedroom has bunk beds. The bathroom has a bath, plenty of large towels.

Cons: I struggled with the downstairs keybox which isn't that obvious. I've never seen one of those tiny ones before. Then upstairs at the flat entrance, there are two locks to unlock, one of which was a bit dodgy and I struggled with it. I ended up pressing the doorbell monitor and the host answered just at the moment I managed to open the door. Toilet roll is very cheap and nasty, which always leaves a bad impression about a place. I'm afraid the chintzy decor is just not my taste at all either. Lastly, I couldn't find sockets when and where I needed them. They are a bit scarce. There isn't one by the sofa or the table if you want to work from a laptop or charge your phone from either. Even in the bedroom, I had to delve behind the headboard to find one there.

Pristine penthouse apartment with amazing views

Pros: The building was clean & modern with a convenient car park just to the rear. Check in instructions were very clear & easy to follow. The apartment was clean, beautifully decorated with all the extras you could ask for (central heating, smart TV, towels, bedding etc.) The bed was comfortable and there was hardly any outside noice once windows were closed. The views were fantastic, albeit not as spectacular in the rain as they would be on a summers day.

Cons: The lack of a lift made getting to the top floor with our bags a bit of a challenge. Also, the bath plug didn’t push down securely, so we were unable to enjoy a bath. However, neither of these things affected our experience
