The Hayloft

Pros: Quiet location, firm and comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, warm and cosy. It was all that I'd hoped for a restful week. Good base for exploring Norfolk.

Cons: I liked everything about the Hayloft.

Cons: Bed was a bit hard and rickety but it didn't spoil our stay.

Pros: In a beautiful setting. The sun shone, birds sang. Loved the private garden. Even had a bar b q. Very welcoming. The icing on cake?! There was a T pot.

Cons: Only there for short time

Great base for exploring North Norfolk

Pros: Lovely location and a good base to get about. Hayloft was quirky and great for the 2 of us. We loved the original beams. We had an enjoyable stay as we explored North Norfolk everyday of our visit. We were disappointed that we were restricted to just one part of the outside because of other people staying in the adjacent cottage and apartment underneath us. We had hoped to see free roaming chickens and ducks at the property as they are mentioned on the booking site but sadly this wasnt the case. Also on arrival the tea tray only had a few coffee satchets with no Teabags or alternative drinks...wasn't very welcoming. There were several cobwebs and seemed dusty. All the velux windows were dirty so was hard to see outside and one velux had a warning about not touching it as it could fall out!! Some appliances need to be renewed as does the shower. We found the mattress uncomfortable but that's our opinion. The owner was really friendly when we met him.

Pros: Perfect tranquil spot in lovely Norfolk countryside. Host was very welcoming and attentive to any requests to make stay more enjoyable.

Cons: The full address and directions should have been posted in booking.com App as satnav took you past the property.

beautiful location and cottage

Pros: location. a quiet beautiful location. the hayloft is a beautiful cottage with kitchen cooker fridge, toaster kettle, dishwasher including tablets and washing liquid. Living room Tv woodfire and tv. Bedroom comfortable double bed, bathroom with shower. towels included Met owner 1st day very friendly, asked if i needed anything to ask. ie milk

Pros: The area was lovely and quiet. Beautiful scenery and the property itself was gorgeous. I am from Norfolk so I know how serene and beautiful it can be and the Hayloft really captured this. We had the most lovely time.

Pros: Very clean, comfortable. All the facilities you would need are available. Beautiful surrounding garden. All very well maintained. Would visit again.

Cons: Access to cottage is via long bumpy narrow lanes. OK until you meet a vehicle coming the other way Go slowly and take care at junctions.
