Lovely hotel spoilt by smokers.

Pros: Location was perfect, just a short distance from the main town.

Cons: People smoking at the front of the hotel. After parking you walk to the main door and reception to be met by people smoking and the smell of the smoke hit you as you went into the reception....disgusting.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful historic town.

Pros: Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds. Plenty of parking. The room was immaculate, very large and well equipped (iron etc..). The bed was comfortable, lovely bathroom with plenty of lovely plush towels. We only stayed for one night but would have happily stayed longer. Very nice bar and restaurant. A little way out of the town centre. We got a taxi, maybe there is a bus stop nearby but we didn’t enquire. We would definitely stay again and recommend .

Pros: Friendly staff, cleaning staff finished cleaning room quickly as we arrived early. Surprisingly quiet location, nice to wake up hearing the birds.

Cons: Bathroom in need of updating.

Great value, friendly service, good comfort and a few added bonuses.

Pros: Very friendly staff. Questions answered thoroughly and info explained clearly. Huge, comfortable room, including the bed. It was 2 singles pushed together but we were okay with that. The bath was a jacuzzi which was a pleasant surprise! Sweets, biscuits and even herbal tea available. Great heating system, easy to control. Many thanks.

Cons: The mirror light wasn't working so putting on makeup was a challenge! Would have reported it at the time but we were in a rush to go to an event so just got on with it. The car park was also a bit bumpy in places, probably due to all the rain! None of this would put us off staying again.
