Pros: Lovely receptionist very welcoming after our long drive in dreadful weather, allowed us to check in early

Couldn’t fault it, a very comfortable stay

Pros: Staff were welcoming, professional and helpful, and we were very impressed that an early breakfast was provided as one of us was fasting for Ramadan.

A great hotel for its price range!

Pros: The hotel was in a good location for us as we were visiting the IWM at Duxford. It was very new and extremely clean. Very friendly staff and someone was always on hand to help or serve us. The room had everything in that we needed and was a good size. The bathroom was lovely with a large shower. Plenty of soap, shampoo and conditioner. There was an option of changing the pillows to your requirement which was a nice touch. We enjoyed our drink in the bar area then had a simple meal which was nice.

Cons: The mattress was quite firm is my on negative about this property. Some people like a firm mattress so I realise it can be difficult to please everyone.

Pros: Very good customer service and brilliant attention and interaction with children by breakfast staff.

Pros: I would like to have a small fridge in the room, since I take medicines that should be in fridge. This problem was solved since the reception keep my medicines in the hotel’s fridge!

Pros: Everything, I’ve stayed here multiple times now when I’ve been up visiting my friend! And it’s great such good value for money and never disappoints!

Overall, a very comfortable stay with only minor issues to overcome to make it excellent.

Pros: The room was very clean and modern. The double bed was very comfortable and I had a great night sleep. Easy location to get too and easy access to Cambridge & surrounding areas. Plenty of parking at the hotel and the spaces are big enough for the modern car. Staff were friendly and welcoming overall. The internet was great, no buffering at all, even whilst watching Netflix on my laptop. Evening meal was well cooked albeit the selection is basic and minimal. However, the location means easy walks to local shops and restaurants if you wish to venture out.

Cons: The bottom of the shower door leaks, this leads to the bathroom floor being soaked even if you place the floor matt there. This has happened on previous stays as well so needs looking at, some are missing the seal on the bottom of the shower door. The breakfast isn't great compared to many other hotels that I have stayed in. It obviously gets cooked early and left on the hot plate ready for the self service buffet. This dries out the bacon and sausages plus makes the hash browns soggy. If you are happy with continental or scrambled egg on toast then all good. In summary it feels like a very budget controlled breakfast.
