The Ship Hotel

So nearly spot on but really annoying slip ups

Pros: Staff were friendly and one in particular was so personable and direct. Amazing soundproofing in room so as not to hear noisy restaurant. Decor was calming and nice spacious bedroom. Good atmosphere.

Cons: Came back at 3.30 on Sunday and room not been cleaned. Nowhere to go as restaurant full, so had to go out for coffee until it was. 2nd breakfast...took 3 goes to get husband's Eggs Benedict right. Eggs Royal arrived first time and 2nd time, despite runny Eggs having been specified, they were solid. 3rd time lucky!! Bathroom very small.

We were thoroughly well looked after and enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Pros: Rooms are first class and I would certainly recommend you have dinner in the restaurant which is absolutely first class.

Cons: Car parking is difficult with limited space but not something to be concerned about.

Amazing we will be back

Pros: The whole experience was really enjoyable, was checked in by a super efficient friendly member of staff and shown to a superb uber clean spacious room with an extremely comfortable bed.

Cons: There was nothing not to like about the ship hotel…apart from having to check out!

exceptional stay in a sea side town

Pros: Easy to find. excellent communication before during and after. very friendly helpful staff. room was beautifully decorated and the bed extremely comfy. had everything we needed.

Excellent hotel

Pros: Hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained, bed is super comfortable, everything works perfectly. Staff are without exception amazing, polite and helpful, friendly and professional.

Cons: Only reason it didn't get a 10 was the proximity to the railway, which caused a rumbling when trains passed. However, nothing major, not noisy or disturbing. Other than that, amazing place.
