Southend Central Hotel - Close to Beach

Pros: Room was ok for money paid you get what you pay for would I stop again yes

I would stay again definitely

Pros: I had a loft room nice and small and cosy for one person I love the loft window I looked out and I could see a nice view I could park my vehicle and walk to my destinations all good would stay again

Cons: First night I could hear a baby crying but that’s normal if a family is staying there only heard the baby cry one night so had a better night the second night

Pros: Make you feel welcome, friendly service and room is clean and has private toilet (which I prefer).

Pros: Bolt hole for one nights stay. Close to where I needed to be with parking

Top hotel! Really comfortable stay.

Pros: Lovely bar area, really enjoyed the piano being played by a local which created nice atmosphere. Spacious and comfy bedroom and bed, Great view of the seafront (photo I took attached) nice shower too And all in all staff were friendly

Cons: The bed could've done with wider/longer pillows Also was tricky filling up the kettle using the bathroom sink tap Would also be nice to be able for adults to go out into the balcony (2nd floor) but understandable for safety reasons why it wasn't allowed.

Pros: My stay here was good, not too far from town centre. A basic room with usual tea/coffee facilities, check in was quick, had a room on 1st floor

Cons: No hangers in wardrobe, bed not too comfortable, no breakfast but there's a kitchenette with just a microwave oven so one can bring in something to heat up. Provide your own cutlery though

Great Spot

Pros: All very good great location very clean and close to the town. And the Famous Pier ! Good parking all very good

Covers the basic needs for an overnight stay.

Pros: The property is 10 minutes from Southend high street. There is a small convenience store nearby for any basic needs. The room was fine with en-suite bathroom, a small closet and a desk with coffee and tea making facilities.

Cons: There was not shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom but having read previous reviews I was prepared and had my own. The main issue I faced was the very loud noise from upstairs until almost 10:30pm which meant that I could not get an early night's sleep.

Cheap and cheerful, does the job

Pros: Yeah it’s not a hotel per se, no food and drink served. Enough for a few cups of tea in my room. Room 1 I was in. Shower fantastic, lovely - just like the welcome. All I needed for a nights stay.

Cons: Window looks like it could do with updating, bit rickety. More soundproofing, although I slept solidly until my alarm so can’t complain!

Pros: Clean ensuite room,parking and a pretty house and street

Cons: I have no dislikes.
