Perfect quiet property with top class service, food and beverages.

Pros: Everything was more than expected. A beautiful plate of cakes and crumpets on arrival with a pot of tea. Free Wi-Fi. Impeccable rooms. A breakfast fit for a king or queen. Friendly landlady who was warm and personable. Outstanding.

Cons: Nothing to dislike. 🙂

Lovely place to stay

Pros: Lovely place to stay, very quiet. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the owner (Cindy) is lovely couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely go again.

Exceeded my expectations.

Pros: Cindy was the perfect host. 5* Hotel breakfast. Accommodation was comfortable and clean.

Pros: Cindy and Richard were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. A wonderful welcome with a cuppa and a slice of cake. The bedroom was really comfortable and, because the hotel is off the beaten track, it was sooo peaceful. The house was delightfully furnished and absolutely spotless. Unfortunately, we both put on weight because Cindy (or Richard) cooked enough for four of us for breakfast and made sure we wouldn’t go hungry for a week or so afterwards. Plenty of parking space for the car and, if we hadn’t been visiting for the express purpose of seeing family every day, there would have been plenty of nice walks in the area.

Cons: There was little mark on the ceiling in one of the rooms. Just kidding. There was absolutely nothing we could fault.

Exceptional B & B

Pros: I enjoyed the little extras in the room and, of course, the exceptional breakfast prepared to order.

Pros: Somewhat remote but in beautiful surroundings , a lovely large gracious home

Lovely hosts, traditional property in a countryside location. Amazing breakfast!

Pros: Stunning location with amazing sunrise views over the surrounding countryside. Breakfast was the best and the owner went above and beyond to accommodate allergies and dietary requirements.

Cons: Personal preference so not really a moan but bed was too soft and as it was a double not a king-size it was too short for hubby who is over 6' tall. Lots of spiders in the bathroom but it is the countryside. House is directly on the main country road and people who were clearly familiar with said road used it like a racetrack so although in the countryside there was quite a lot of speeding traffic noise.

Excellent place to stay

Pros: This was a delightful place to stay overnight - Cindy couldn't have been more accommodating. Breakfast was fabulous and I would highly recommend staying here if you need accomodation in this area.

Wonderful stay & superb breakfast..beats a corporate hotel hands down

Pros: The hosts..Cindy was so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The house was beautiful & clean, easy to find and park. The rooms were spacious and nicely appointed with comfy beds. The breakfast was exceptional and served in a gorgeous room with lovely crockery & cutlery. A really unique & special guest house

Cons: When the windows were open to air, unfortunately we did get a lot of flies and bugs in the rooms, but it is near sheep/countryside so this cannot be helped and we got them out easily enough. Otherwise all perfect
