Pros: Beautiful building, much of it original and unchanged fixtures, stunning architectural additions, beautiful grounds and setting.

Cons: The new annex where we were put on 2nd floor with no lift.

A great value, beautiful hotel with excellent staff.

Pros: Staff are fantastic, good breakfast selection, bed is comfortable, grounds of hotel are beautiful, hotel is generally cleaned to a high standard, Christmas decorations were very tastefully done.

Cons: Evening meal options were limited and repetitive for someone staying over a week- could do with more healthy options. Tiles in bathroom had highly visible water marks which could do with a deep clean / descale.
